Exploring Handmade ~ Holiday Shopping Event ~ Day 7

Hello and Welcome to Day 7 of the
Exploring Handmade Online Holiday Shopping Event!!

I've dedicated Day 7 to gift ideas for children.

First let's meet Sherri and Susan of
Lollipops and Daisies Children's Boutique...
We are two best friends who, after retirement decided we would like to do something with our creative sides. Susan had worked in business marketing/management for 30 years and Sherri worked in that field for 18 years and then social services for 9 years. Sherri became ill while still working and Susan became bored with retirement! We put our heads together and decided we would get out of our rut by doing what we liked, loved and wanted to do...hence, Lollipops and Daisies Children's Boutique was born. Sherri enjoys the design and sewing aspects and Susan prefers designing and crafting so we are a perfect fit (of course we always knew that!).

Our emphasis first and foremost for us individually has been to have fun. Our emphsis for the business is to produce a product that will pass a 'Martha Stewart' inspection, meaning we will do the best we possibly can. We make each item with heart, love and attention to detail.

Our business philosophy is to be unique in our design process making apparel and adornments that are fun and sassy or elegant and classy. We create to promote uniqueness and to show our younger generations that it's perfectly okay to "color outside the lines", "dance like nobody's watching" and to do what you LOVE.

Here are some of the places you can find Sherri and Susan and their work...

Now let's meet Robin Bragg of A-1 Bows...
I am a WAHM of 3 children. I started making bows and other accessories in July 2011. I sell handmade bows, flowers, headbands, bow holders, tutus and more. I am also a dance teacher and minister. I love making bows. I strive to offer unique, beautiful and durable products at reasonable prices.

Here are some of the places you can find Robin and her work...

And we have Martha Couch of Pretty ~N~ Pirouette...
I specialize in 100 % hand made, and unique tutus, tutu dresses, hair bows, OTT flip flops, and bow holders.

And, last but not least, we have Catherine Collier of
Catz Craftz and Creationz...

Hope you're still enjoying yourselves and finding great gifts! I'll see you tomorrow for Day 8 :)
