Now let's meet Win Charles of Aspen Rose Arts...
The reason why I became an artist is to have a outlet in my life living with a disability for 23 years. Back in 2006 my life got out of control so to speak do to me having to have a six hour back operation that almost killed me, up in till 2006 I walking under my own power, summer 06 was hardest recovery of my life, and my "06 back operation" is still very emotionally painful for me to speak on because it changed my life forever.

The story of my art: during the summer of 06 I was doing PT 2 to 3 times a week trying to be good at walking using a walker. One day near the end of my Pt my Pt at the time said to me "Win your getting angry and depress from all this.,you need to see a counselor to help" My answer to my pt was sure, then on the way home I thought "that's nuts, I'm not doing it" so that same day I looked online for a painting program found one that I fall in love with, & still use today.

It took a lot of time for to achieve where I am today as a artist, then last summer my mom who was also my aid for 23 years got ill on july 12 then sadly pass away on Aug 12, 2010 so that said I feel that I'm capable to do most any art. Yes it's inspiring to move on,and face living everyday with a disability.

And last but not least, Ami and Pam Potts of
Flutterby's Creations...
Flutterby's Creations is family owned. Pam and Ami met when Ami began dating Pam's son. We have become very good friends over the many years we have known each other. Early on, we found that we had a passion for arts and crafts in common. We have learned new methods together and have taught each other techniques as we learn them.
Ami and Pam have varied interests. We love to create with paper, wood, canvas, clays and any other medium that attracts our interest. We continually look for inspiration in magazines, online, in nature and our surroundings. Both are skilled in the use of all paper products, bookmaking, metal embossing and the use of both wet and dry embossing techniques. We both use paint and paint additives to create faux finishs on wood and canvas as well as furniture and walls. We use many tools in our creations such as drill presses, saws, soldering irons, etc.

Pam was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona and has lived in the Phoenix area most of her life and currently resides in Gilbert, Arizona. She is a retired high school counselor, has two boys (one of whom is married to Ami) and has been married 36 years to a great man.

Ami was transplanted to Arizona from Ohio as a young girl and currently lives in Florence, Arizona. I am a stay at home mom and I have really been blessed with watching my son grow up. I've been married 12 years to my high school sweetheart .We have one Amazing son and four wacky dogs that I have rescued over the years.

Pam and I are in-laws but also best of friends and share the love of crafting together. We began Flutterby's Creations so that we can continue to create and have an outlet for the many things we love to make. We are happiest when our creative energies are flowing. We specialize in making one of a kind gift items or just specialty items for your home. We are open to anything creative and strive for the wow factor and quality of our products so our customers can feel confident in giving our crafts as gifts, putting on display in your home,or using for everyday needs. We hope you have fun with our store even if you are just stopping in!
